Sorry I didn't wave while driving past your house this evening… At that exact moment, I was being told that I smile too much when I'm talking to you. That I don't talk to you like I talk to our other friend.

I mean… she isn't wrong.

This thing is going to get messy before it gets clean, isn't it? I think I've allayed her concerns, for now. But until you and I are both ready to pull the trigger… I guess I probably need to be a bit more careful.

(and I wouldn't be too surprised if you haven't been on the receiving end of similar complaints… I do sometimes wonder how the others don't notice… I guess that's the answer, isn't it? They do notice, they must)
